Comments, who owns them?

I have just read an interesting article at weblog tools collection about the ownership of comments.
It’s something I’ve not thought about before, but I can see it being more of a problem as the world wises up to blogging.
Should I create a comment policy to protect myself and commenters? I’ll think about it.
